April 21 is National Bulldogs are Beautiful Day. It’s also the day that Truman alumni, family and friends can give back and support the next generation of Beautiful Bulldogs.

Thanks to generous lead donors, donations made between noon on April 21 and noon April 22 go even further.

Joint Boards Challenge:
Members of the Alumni Board, Board of Governors and Foundation Board have donated $36,825 in matching funds. Dollar for dollar matches to the fund of your choice are available while funds last!

Additional challenge areas give you the opportunity to target your support to areas of campus important to you!

Big Event
The Big Event is a Truman Tradition where students serve in the Kirksville community. Gifts in support of the Big Event will fund t-shirts and breakfast for participants and help carry on this important service initiative. Donations from young alumni and students who donate to the Student Affairs Foundation Fund in support of the Big event will be matched 1:1 up to $5,000. The funds for this match are provided through the generosity of Colleen Ritchie (’84)

Bulldog Student Investment Fund
The first ten gifts of $200 or more to the Bulldog Student Investment Fund from a BSIF Alum on Giving Day, will receive a match of $200 through the generosity of Mindy McCubbin (’97).

Every gift (not just from BSIF Alumni) to the Bulldog Student Investment Fund on Giving Day, will receive a 1:1 match up to $14,000. The funds for this match are because of the generosity of Tony (’99, ’00) and Julie (’00) Marek.

Research Experience for Undergraduates in Biochemistry and Genetics
Gifts to Research Experience for Undergraduates in Biochemistry and Genetics will be matched 3:1 up to $15,000. The funds for this match are provided through the generosity of Dr. Sharron Quisenberry (’66)

Women’s Basketball Locker Room Renovation
With the construction that has been happening in Pershing Arena since June 2021, the Women’s Basketball team went through the entire season without its normal locker room. Thanks to matching donors, this project aims to fully renovate their space, including refurbishing of the lockers, replacing the couches and graphics and more!
